About Us
Ian Robb Timber Harvesting (IRTH) was founded in 2003 and since then has harvested in the region of 350,000 tonnes of timber across the length of Scotland – from Ayrshire to John O’Groats.
Our clients include farmers, woodland investors, estate owners, local councils, and government agencies.
Whatever the size of your woodland, IRTH provides personal, professional advice and expertise based on decades of experience.
We have a small fleet suitable to most of the jobs we undertake, and we can access, fell and haul timber from most locations – even those that heavier equipment will find impossible.
Ian Robb
Ian started in forestry in 1988 (following his father who had been a wood cutter). In 1992 he acquired his first major item of machinery (a forwarder) as he continued to grow and develop knowledge and skills.
