IRTH are entirely independent of any timber using group and normally markets clients’ timber on competitive basis, to a range of potential customers.

We have developed strong relationships with a wide variety of timber users; from specialist sawmills who are keen to take quality hardwood to firewood producers and biomass vendors who can take timber of almost any quality.
We can often offer you a return on your timber even when other harvesters will state that it has no commercial value. No longer a liability but an asset.

- Marketing felled / thinned timber either on behalf of the landowner or directly to either:-
- Firewood providers
- Bio Fuel / Biomass chippers
- Saw mills – particularly for more valuable woods or best quality logs
- We can advise you on how to make the best return on your woodland and will identify opportunities for any niche sales where they may exist. We will construct the felling plan to optimise the harvesting operation to suit the most appropriate use for the wood.
- We are truly independent. Since we are not an “end user” of the timber we have no vested interest in one use over another. We will help get the best possible price for the timber we harvest based on its quality and utility.
We have links with international timber buyers as well as with smaller independent firewood processors and sawmills. Regardless of the size of your woodland or its maturity, IRTH will work on your behalf to market it effectively achieving the best possible prices through detailed planning and negotiations.
